00’s
I was going to do the usual year’s end questionnaire as if nothing special was happening, but then Lisa Medin summed up her entire 00’s, so of course I had to do the same.

2000
I make the first issue (#0) of my comics zine Tunguska. I get my first tattoo. I graduate from high school and think for a moment that I am finally free. I enter Lund University to study Russian and Russian cultural history, and with sadness I leave my doggie Mitsu and my piggy Sergei in my mum’s care. I miss them terribly and go visit them as often as I can. I rent my own apartment and read Bound for Glory by Woody Guthrie.

I feel a bit like a sell-out now, because I generally hate Swedish autobiographical comics, and now an autobiographical comic in Swedish by me has been published in the comics web zine Babian.se #15 …

I made that comic in 2006 and sent it in back then. I never got an answer, which was fine, but now, december 2009, all of a sudden they emailed me and wanted to have it in the new issue, where it fit thematically.
In any case, this delay was all for the better, because now I could go back and fix some embarrassing things, like the lettering.

Boar pillows in Denver, CO
These photos were kindly sent to me by Lisa in Denver, Colorado in the Park Hill neigbourhood, who made a bunch of very nice pillows with my boar fabric. Lisa has a pretty cool living room:
It’s really fun to see the fabric in action! I myself haven’t made anything with it yet, because I don’t have a sewing machine. I’ve been saving it for when I’ll visit my mum over the holidays, because she has two sewing machines … ;o)
