Politically\u00a0it is already pretty much autonomous, but its entire economy is dependent on the\u00a0colonial nation. It exports copper ore and bananas, and has to import almost all\u00a0food and manufactured goods from its colonial masters. On the surface the\u00a0situation is pretty calm, but frustration is brewing and the\u00a0future seems\u00a0uncertain.
